Party

My 18th Birthday Party will be on the 16th February - that's a Saturday. Starting probably some time between 7 and 8, going on all night. I'm not allowed more than 20 people - which sucks - although if more want to come they can as long as they're not sleeping.
Girls are to dress as ravers, and boys as punks. I'm not entirely sure who's idea this was but it's sticking. You've got ages to get a costume together - you won't be allowed in without one! Start preparing now, it's not that hard. I'm not asking you to dress up as disney characters, lawl.
My mum is, as always, being stingy with the alcohol. Bring something along if you can :P

Exams + New Guy

Haven't posted in forever. Is very bad.

So, since last time I posted I've had my mock theory and practical. I passed the theory and failed the practical, but not badly so I think I'll be ok in the real thing. We've got theory exams all next week and some more the week after I think, and we've got practical on the 12th Dec and the 17th and 18th Dec as well. Then, no more college :D

Also, I'm seeing someone new. His name's Rhys, and I met him through (lol) David M. David M who is, btw, very much out of the picture. Rhys has stayed at mine a couple of weekends, he's loads of fun and has very cool hair :P He's coming up again this weekend, this time for two nights not just one :D Maybe keep this one? In a shoe box? Yes :P

Also this weekend I need to dye my hair - it has to be all one colour for the exam or I'll get failed for my appearance. Which sucks. But I want to dye it back to normal anyway so I can grow it without weird roots :)

I've been ill for the last couple of days but I'm better enough to be back in college now :) still feel a bit crappy but I'm ok. Might take tomorrow off though, don't want to give my icky illness to paying clients. + Aromatherapy is crap.

Ahahahahah also I have Spice Girls tickets. Me and Rhys are going. On 2nd of Jan. To London. How good is that? :P

Cleo Likes to Shop

At half term I went shopping :D We didn't go to Magna cos my mother had to go to the hairdresser urgently and we wouldn't have had a full day so it wouldn't have been worth it. So we went to the York Designer Outlet instead. I bought shoes from Next Clearance, some zebra stripe high heels and some blue peep toe heels. I pursuaded my mum to buy herself some bright yellow peep toe flats - she's never had shoes that weren't black or brown or beige sandals before. Oh and one pair of teal dolly shoes. We went to Logo as well and I got two little vest tops (orange and brown), a red jumper and a little tiny pink cropped jacket. My mother got (also on my advice lawl) a grey and black stripy sweaterdress. Which goes with the little yellow shoes and opaque black tights or jeans.
I also bought some DVDs (Notes on a Scandal, Memoires of a Geisha and Pan's Labyrinth).
Over half term my hard working little laptop downloaded the rest of season 4 (20 episodes), all of season 5 (22 episodes) and the first 2 episodes of season 6. I love my laptop :D So much Buffys for me.
Last night Elly cut my hair again :) It's short like it was before. I'm going to dye it back to dark brown tonight I think. Cos I have roots and I can't be bothered XD
We've got all day Salon today, which kind of sucks. Except we're in two groups so it's only really half a day. So internet all morning, yay!

Half Term is Happening

Heh, a long weekend off college. Happyness and fun :D Am going to Magna, and also to Leeds with Bee Milly. And there will be sleeping, watching of X Factor and playing with the goats. And a singing lesson.

But, I forgot to write about last weekend. David McGhee came over from like Saturday lunch time until early afternoon on Sunday. We went to the cinema to see 30 Days of Night, which was awesome although not that scary, just actiony. And gory, lawl. We watched the X Factor together which David was not a fan of. Futureproof were voted out, hee hee.

Also, I want a giant microbe plush. And a Gaiaonline real life Water Meat Plushie. I luff water meats. I would like a room filled with water meats. And giant microbes. Hee hee.

Halloween Party Yay

The Halloween party went pretty well :)

Emily arrived at like 3, and we got ready together and then watched the X Factor. I did some of my case study work as well and then we got everything out for the party. No one arrived on time - as usual - but at 8.30 my college buddies arrived (Elly, Izzy, Charlotte and Jess). We didn't have enough guys so we invited Jonny and because he came without a costume he ended up wearing a denim dress with pink edges, a straw hat and high heels. Then Jordan turned up and knocked on the window which scared everyone. Charlotte talked David Pilgrim into coming down - which was somewhat awkward, and it didn't help that he sat in silence for most of the evening and didn't speak to anyone - and he arrived about the same time as David McGhee, who was more friendly but would not wear a dress.
Jess and Charlotte took Jonny into the attic for a while, and then everyone hung out together in my old bedroom making prank calls. A few of us had a 'how many people can fit into a double bed' competition - the answer was 4 but when my mum walked in it was 3 - me, Jonny and David McGhee. She didn't seem at all surprised, lawl.
Jess and Charlotte took Jonny back into the attic, me and David slept in my room and everyone else slept in my old room, and Charlotte ended up there as well, leaving Jess and Jonny trapped in the attic. Elly went up there and offered them apple juice - then came into my room and did the same. Was not entirely impressed :P
Next day the college buddies left early to do case study work. Emily left around 11.30 and Jordan left at 12. David M stayed until like 6, when I went back to college.
Also there was a bright orange cake which was yummy. And bacons. Mmmmmmmm. And lasagne.
Next party will probably be mid February, for my birthday. Be there!

Halloween Party

Ok, here it is:

Cleo Rose's Halloween Party will be at 8pm on Saturday 27th October. It's an all night party - so if possible bring a sleeping bag, pillow, anything you've got. My mum's being a bit tight with alcohol this time so any extra bottles can definately be used - but you don't have to bring anything except your luffly selves.

Fancy dress is a must, or you will be put into a costume of my choice, which you may not enjoy wearing.

If you can't make it for the start turn up any time - but bear in mind although it's an all night party we may all be asleep any time from 2am onwards, so call if you want someone to stay up and let you in.

If you don't have my address contact either Emily Pilgrim or Jordan Penny, my gorgeous party organisers. If you don't know them, ring me on the number posted a few entries ago.

Anyone nice is welcome - the blacklist is anyone I've slept with (you know who you are). Bring a friend, newbies are always a good thing.

Half Term Assessment

Pretty much a garunteed fail I think. I forgot how to do everything. Questions were fine, actually doing stuff, not so much. I'd never done a clay mask before (which is NOT my fault) and Mrs Cusworth had a go at me for it. Then I forgot how to do a manicure - which I'm like, amazing at usually. I got the tint all over Miranda's face (which I have NEVER done before) and knocked someone else's tools off their trolly trying to get my fat ass back in after changing the water.
